GUJRANWALA: The Punjab Food Authority (PFA), during a crackdown, blockaded the GT Road Toll Plaza Gujranwala and seized 10,000 litres of adulterated milk, mixed with powder and chemicals and wasted it on the spot on Sunday.

According to spokesman of PFA, the Additional Director of Punjab Food Authority along with food safety team blocked the GT Road Toll Plaza late at night during a crackdown and checked the quality of milk loaded in vehicles.

The food safety team disposed of 10,000 litres of milk mixed with powder and chemicals immediately. A case was registered against the milk vendors for violating the standards and rules set by the food regulator.
