Quetta: Boycott of Young Doctors Association (YDA) and Paramedical Staff Association from OPDs, operation theatres, wards and emergency services of government run healthcare facilities continued on Friday for the 26th consecutive day, demanding release of 19 detained doctors, provision of medicines and necessary healthcare equipments as well as machineries in government hospitals of the province.

According to reports, doctors and paramedical staff boycotted OPDs, operation theatres, wards and emergency services in government run healthcare facilities on the call of Young Doctors Association (YDA) and Paramedical Staff Association.

Talking to media, including PPI, representatives of YDA and Balochistan Paramedical Staff Association said that protest of YDA and Paramedical Staff Association would continue until all genuine demands of YDA, including early release of 19 detained doctors, provision of medicines and ensuring providing necessary healthcare equipments to the government run hospitals, were addressed.
