ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) on China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Affairs Khalid Mansoor has said the government effectively embarks on the second phase of CPEC project to accelerate the socio-economic development in Pakistan.

Speaking at a conference regarding CPEC in Lahore on Tuesday, he expressed the commitment to make Pakistan a manufacturing hub through industrial revolution. He said the government is taking effective steps for the industrial revolution in the country.

He said policies are also being formulated to provide facilities to the investors for providing them enabling environment of investment. He said the government is paying special attention towards the timely completion of CPEC projects. He said CPEC will prove to be a milestone in promoting regional economic integration as well.
