ISLAMABAD:Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Food Security Jamshed Iqbal Cheema has said the government will provide sugar to the people at 80 rupees per kg.

In a statement on Tuesday, he said we will also provide relief to the people in the prices of ghee and pulses. He said there have been good crops of cotton and sugarcane this year. The SAPM said the farmers will also get good price of their produce. He said subsidy has been given to farmers on seed, fertilizer and pesticides.
