QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, while taking notice of the damages caused by recent rains in Sub Tehsil Balnigore of district Kech in Balochistan province, has directed PDMA to start rescue and relief operations in the affected areas, according to a statement issued by the Chief Minister’s Secretariat on Tuesday. In compliance with the directives of Chief Minister Balochistan, staff of Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) launched rescue and relief operations.

Talking to PPI, Director General, Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), Naseer Nasar said that relief gears, including clothes, tents, cylinders, medicines and edible items, had already been dispatched to the affected areas, adding that PDMA was in close contact with Deputy Commissioner, Kech and district administration. He said that PDMA was alert to cope up with any untoward situation.

It is pertinent to mention that the recent rainfall caused damages in Balcross, Dalaysar and Kashap areas of Sub Tehsil Balnigore in district Kech of Mekran Division.
