QUETTA: Bismillah Khan Achakzai, President, Shaheen Unit, Pushtunabad, has said that Deputy Speaker, National Assembly, Qasim Suri has altogether ignored Pushtunabad, a dense populated and backward area of Quetta city, from development projects.

In a statement issued here on Sunday, he said that the problems being faced by the people have already been brought into the notice of Qasim Suri, but during the last three years, not a single development project has so far been approved for the said neglected area of Quetta city.

He added that Qasim Suri has failed to fulfil his commitments made with the people of Pushtunabad. He said that relief items provided by the federal government amid COVID-19 pandemic for the people of Pushtunabad were distributed by Qasim Suri among few persons. He called on Prime Minister Imran Khan to announce special development package for the addressing the problems of Pushtunabad.
