OIC asked to stop Indian atrocities in IIOJK

SRINAGAR: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Mass Movement, Molvi Bashir Ahmad Irfani has appealed to delegates, attending the OIC Foreign Ministers’ Conference in Islamabad, to put pressure on India to stop its atrocities in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to a KMS report on Sunday, Molvi Bashir Ahmad Irfani in a statement issued in Srinagar urged the participants of the conference to stop India from changing the demography of the territory and to resolve the Kashmir dispute peacefully as per the United Nations resolutions.

He said Pakistan has been continuously providing moral, political and diplomatic support to the Kashmiri people for the last seven decades. “We are grateful to Pakistan and hope that Pakistan will continue its support to the people of Kashmir in their just struggle for right to self-determination,” he added.

Molvi Bashir Ahmad Irfani lamented that the situation in IIOJK had become very serious where systematic human rights violations continued and urged the international community, including the United Nations, to wake up from its slumber and give the Kashmiri people their right to self-determination.
