Medical colleges at district level to boost healthcare: Secretary

QUETTA:Noor-ul-Haq Baloch, Secretary, Health Department, has said that operationalization of medical colleges at district level would not only minimize the burden of patients on government run hospitals of Quetta, but would also be helpful to provide healthcare facilities to the people at their threshold. These views were expressed by him while presiding over a meeting held here on Tuesday in connection with providing healthcare equipments and machinery to the medical colleges of Balochistan.

The meeting thoroughly deliberated upon the issues relating to provision of healthcare equipments and machinery to medical colleges of the province. Speaking on the occasion, Noor-ul-Haq Baloch said that measures were being adopted to operationalize medical colleges of the province at district level so that healthcare facilities could be provided to the people at their threshold.
