QUETTA:Haji Muhammad Ali Bareach, leader of Alaqae All Parties Mashraqi Bypass, Quetta, has called on authorities to take legal action against land mafia and retrieve the land spared by the residents of Eastern Bypass area of Quetta for graveyard.

Addressing a press conference with others at Quetta Press Club here on Monday, he alleged that residents of Eastern Bypass, Quetta spared land some 30 years ago for graveyard, but land mafia headed by Taj Muhammad alias Tajoo the previous day tried to construct boundary wall on the land spared by the residents of the area for graveyard.

He added when residents of the area foiled the bid of land mafia to construct wall, Taj Muhammad alias Tajoo and his accomplices attacked residents of the area, resultantly, some residents sustained injuries who were still under treatment. He said that First Information Report (F.I.R) against the alleged accused had been lodged in the concerned police station, but no arrest had so far been made.

He called on authorities to arrest Taj Muhammad alias Tajoo and others land grabbers nominated in the FIR and retrieve the land. On the occasion, leader of Balochistan Awami Party (BAP), Haji Noor Ahmed Rakhsani, Abdullah Haqani of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (Nazriyati), noted religious scholar Moulana Azizullah Zakiri, Abdul Wali Mulakhail, Qari Abdul Salam Haqani, Javed Bangulzai, Dr. Nazar Ali Kharoti, Asmatullah Kakozai and other leaders as well as workers of different political parties were also present.
