LARKANA: The heirs and relatives of four people of Junejo community who have been gunned down due to a tribal feud in a year in the limits of ratodero and Waris Dino Machi police stations jurisdictions which include ASI Barkat Ali Junejo held protest demonstration here on Thursday against Ratodero and Waris Dino Machi police for their failure to arrest accused involved in the brutal killings. They shouted slogans against the cops demanding justice and arrest of all the nominated accused.

The protesters including Zaheer Junejo, Hashim Junejo, Panah Khatoon, Farzana Khatoon, Malkan Khatoon, Manzoor Khatoon and others alleged that they have an old dispute with members of their community in which Fazal Muhammad and Abdullah were killed four months ago for which ASI Barkat Junejo was blamed and a case was registered against him at Waris Dino Machi police station.

They said Barkat Junejo was returning home after attending court hearing in the same case for bail when he was targeted near Shikarpur Nako in Ratodero by Sadam, Habib, Rahim, Gulzar, Sadiq and others on 23rd September 2021 and on the same day our opponents Wazir, Momin, Arz Muhammad, Dilbar and others killed Dhani Bux Junejo. They said that the FIR of Barkat Junejo was registered at Ratodero police station by Shabnam Junejo but police so far have completely failed to arrest a single accused involved in the brutal murder despite assurances by the SSP Imran Qureshi.

They further alleged that on last 01st Ramadan Wazir and his armed men strangled Zahid Junejo and then murdered Rukhsana Junejo on Eid Ul Fitr day adding in a year they have killed four people including a woman but Ratodero and Waris Dino police station authorities have not so far arrested the nominated accused which shows their performance to end the bloody disputes.

They further accused Ratodero and Waris Dino Machi police station SHOs Abdul Ghafoor Chutto and Noor Muhammad Mugheri respectively that they are helping the accused and harassing us instead of providing justice to the affected family members which is unjust and amounts to violation of human rights. They demanded of the higher police authorities to arrest all the accused without loss of time or else they feared the feud will further escalate and may erupt anytime again.
