JTI call on authorities to address problems being faced by students

QUETTA: Hidayatullah Pirzada, central President, Jamiat Tulaba-e-Islam (JTI), has called on authorities to address the problems being faced by the students of Balochistan and tribal areas of the country, studying if different educational institutions of the country.

Addressing a press conference at Quetta Press Club here on Wednesday, he said if heads of educational institutions of the country did not entertain the demands of protesting students of Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) and Balochistan, Jamiat Tulaba-e-Islam would take drastic steps.

Condemning the use of force against protesting medical students of the country, particularly in Quetta, demanding to conduct entry test for admission in medical colleges of the country, he said that JTI supported the genuine and legitimate demands of the students.

Urging the need for increasing scholarship quota for the students of FATA and Balochistan in the educational institutions of the country, he said government should have showed seriousness to address the problems being faced by the students of the country.

On the occasion, central General Secretary, JTI, Asifullah Marwat Advocate, Provincial President, Hafiz Muhammad Hassan Shuhab, General Secretary, Shah Zahid Mashwani, Secretary Information, Nizam-ud-Khosti and others were also present.
