Four-day Law Book Festival organized in Larkana: 35 to 50% discount offered

LARKANA: A 4-day Law Book Festival was launched on the lawn of District Courts here on Wednesday which is claimed to be the first of its kind in the history of judiciary.

This was claimed by the organizer advocate Aamir Ali Sohu while talking to newsmen. He said no law book festival had ever been held in the court lawns or outside previously as it was the first law book festival here in Larkana where apart from law books, books of literature, science, history, Islamic information, poetry and other subjects have been kept which are being sold with 35 to 50% discount. He said young lawyers can benefit greatly from these books which are available at cheaper rates than the open market.

The festival was inaugurated by District and Sessions Judge Syed Sharafuddin Shah. Al Mansoor Publications of Lahore, Sindhica Academy, Maktab-e-Al-Madina and other publications have displayed their books by establishing their separate stalls. District Bar Association President Akbar Dahar, general secretary Muhammad Ismail Abro, senior advocate Ali Nawaz Ghanghro and other lawyers participated in the event in large numbers.
