LARKANA: The residents of Shadan Jatoi village held a large protest demonstration on Khairpur-Larkana Road here on Wednesday demanding arrest of all the accused involved in the martyrdom of constable Nawab Jatoi in an alleged encounter with the criminals which took place in Wada Mahar village in mid December in which ASI Muzaffar Khoso was also killed along with a criminal Rajoo Mahar.

They shouted slogans and blocked the road, disrupting the traffic by burning bushes. They said while talking with the newsmen that about 20 days ago their loved one Nawab Jatoi was gunned down along with an ASI Khoso in a police encounter with the criminals in Wada Mahar village located within the limits of Akil @ Pir Sher police station and police registered a case against the accused but police have not so far arrested all the accused. They said SHO Talib Junejo has been removed and police have only demolished old walls of the Mahar village to show that they are doing everything to bring the accused to justice.

They alleged that martyred police officials were made captive at the bungalow of a notable of Wada Mahar village Ghulam Hussain Mahar where they were gunned down and then bodies were handed over to the police. They claimed that SSP and DIGP Larkana are not ready to arrest the accused and they have made such complaints to MPA Suhail Anwer Siyal and Bakrani taluka PPP president Tariq Siyal but nothing has yet come out and not a single accused has so far been taken to task. They urged all the higher relevant government authorities to take notice of the issue to arrest all the nominated accused in the FIR and dispense justice without loss of further time.
