ISLAMABAD: Chairman National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) Lieutenant General Akhtar Nawaz Satti made a telephonic contact with Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Khalid Khurshid on Thursday.

According to the Spokesperson of NDMA, they discussed the situation caused by earthquake and need for assistance during the conversation. The spokesperson said, on the special direction of Prime Minister Imran Khan, NDMA is immediately dispatching a consignment of tents and blankets for the victims.
