Balochistan Customs seizes foreign gears worth 200m

ZIARAT: Collectorate of Customs, Balochistan claimed to have seized foreign gears amounting to Rs200 million in an operation conducted at Customs Check Post, Ziarat cross on Thursday.

According to a statement issued by the media cell of Collectorate of Customs, Balochistan, staff of Customs posted at Customs Check Post, Ziarat cross intercepted a suspicious 6-wheeler Hino truck at Customs Check Post, Ziarat cross.

Upon searching, betel nuts, dried Iranian milk, powder, different kinds of tyres, plastic bags, cosmetics, cigarettes and other gears, amounting to Rs200 million, were confiscated from the 6-wheeler-Hino-truck.

The truck used for smuggling was also taken into custody. Operation was conducted by Superintendent, Saleem Agha, Inspector Ahmed Nawaz Zehri and Inspector Bashir Wazir on the directions of Dr. Fareed Salarzai, Collector Customs (Preventive), Collectorate of Customs, Balochistan.
