QUETTA:Employees of Balochistan Civil Secretariat, Quetta have been on strike for the last one and half month for getting their genuine demands addressed, but it seems as if authorities are reluctant to pay heed to the legitimate demands of the employees of Balochistan Civil Secretariat.
These views were expressed by speakers while addressing a protest demonstration held in the corridor of Finance Department, Balochistan Civil Secretariat under the auspices of Balochistan Civil Secretariat Staff Association (BCSSA) here on Monday. Speakers said that it was not known as to why provincial government was reluctant to grant that facility to grade-1 to grade-15 employees of Balochistan Civil Secretariat which had already been granted to the employees of the country by federal government.
Speakers demanded of the authorities to grant 44 percent increase in House Requisition Allowance, issue health cards in favour of the employees of Balochistan Civil Secretariat and increase the rate of utility allowance. Protest demonstration was addressed by Abdul Khaliq Zehri, President, BCSSA, Muhammad Amin Badini, Finance Secretary, Balochistan Civil Secretariat Officers Welfare Association (BCSOWA), Bashir Kakar, General Secretary, BCSSA, Mama Muhammad Hussain Bangulzai, Junior Joint Secretary, Delawar Kakar and others.
