Worsening law, order situation continue to hit hard Larkanians

LARKANA: Despite repeated police encounters with the criminals lawlessness continues to prevail in Larkana. As many as five people were deprived of their valuables on Sunday by active gangs which are yet to be identified and curbed.

According to details, shopkeeper Sunil Kumar was robbed of Rs60,000 cash, mobile phone and other valuables by armed robbers in the limits of Dari police station. Salahudding Shaikh was robbed of his mobile phone from the limits of the same police station. Ahmed Bux Mugheri was deprived of his bike, Rs10,000 cash, motorcycle, mobile phone near Mahmood Dero Laro in the limits of Taluka police station by three armed looters. Bike of Athar Tunio was stolen from the limits of Waleed police station and six goats were stolen from the house of Khadim Shaikh in Baitul Mal Colony.

The affected persons complained to the media that due to poor performance of the Larkana police crime rate is increasing day by day instead of decreasing. They said cops always claimed that they arrested criminals after encounters in injured conditions but despite all these efforts criminals continue to hit poor residents very hard which shows that Larkana police leadership urgently require replacement on emergency basis or else, they further added, they will continue to be made scapegoats.

They said PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari should have taken notice of the worsening law and order situation of Larkana district but he must have been misinformed about the bad atmosphere here by those who accompanied him.
