LAHORE:While coming back from Multan to Lahore, Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar paid a surprise visit to Kabirwala and inspected various areas of the city.
The local administration remained uninformed about the visit of the CM. He directed to improve the situation of cleanliness and stressed that the line departments will have to fulfil their responsibilities in this regard. He also directed to early complete the repair and maintenance of city roads adding that a comprehensive district development package will be chalked out for Khanewal district.
The development schemes will be started in small and medium cities like Kabbirwala, Jehania and Mian Channu to ensure composite development, he said. I will personally monitor development schemes under the district development package and no compromise will be made on the quality of development work, he emphasized.
I personally monitor the problems of the people in the field and issue directions for the solution of such problems as I am not used to working in air-conditioned rooms, he stressed. I listen to the people in the field and would continue to work for the solution of the problems faced by the people, concluded the CM.
