Unemployed engineers will be provided jobs: CM Bizenjo

QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, while highlighting the contributions of engineers for the progress and development of Balochistan, has said that unemployed engineers of the province would be provided job opportunities in mega projects.

These views were expressed by him while talking to a delegation of Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) who called on him at Chief Minister’s Secretariat here on Friday under the leadership of Engineer Nasir Majeed, Vice Chairman, Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). Engineer Nasir Majeed, Vice Chairman, PEC apprised the Chief Minister Balochistan of the problems being faced by engineers and requested to address the problems of in-service and unemployed engineers.

Issuing directives to the concerned authorities for forming a committee under the chairmanship of Mir Asadullah Baloch, Minister for Agriculture and Cooperative to look into the grievances of the engineers, Bizenjo said that government lands would be allotted in favour of Pakistan Engineering Council for setting up sub offices in Gwadar, Turbat, Loralai and Khuzdar areas of the province. He added that “Technical Allowance” would also be paid to the engineers of the province. On the occasion, Mir Asadullah Baloch, Minister for Agriculture and Cooperative was also present.
