ISLAMABAD: Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has issued an alert about taking precautionary measures to avoid any human and material losses in ongoing widespread rain.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the ongoing system of widespread rain and snowfall will continue till Sunday. The PDMA also warned about the possibility of urban flooding in Peshawar. It asked all the deputy commissioners to keep tourists informed about weather forecasts at the tourist spots.

The PDMA also urged the concerned departments to ensure availability of all emergency services staff, machineries and other necessary resources. People can contact PDMA on its helpline 1700 in case of any emergency.
