Pakistani expatriates in North America arrange live memorial for Priyantha Kumara

ISLAMABAD: Funds and scholarships worth one hundred thousand dollars were raised at a live memorial event arranged by Pakistani expatriates in North America for Sri Lankan national Priyantha Kumara.

According to a Radio Pakistan report quoting Pakistan High Commission in Canada, the virtual event was arranged in Toronto to honor Kumara’s life and express support to his family. Consul General of Pakistan in Toronto Abdul Hameed also attended the event. During the memorial, the victim’s widow and eldest son expressed their sincere gratitude to the campaign organizers as well as all their donors and supporters.
