LAHORE: MNAs Haji Imtiaz Ahmad, Syed Faizul Hasan Shah and MPAs Gulraiz Afzal Chan and Muhammad Tarar called on Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar to apprise him about their constituencies’ related problems.
Talking on the occasion, the CM asserted that the backward areas have been made part of the development process and record development work has been done in every district. Regrettably, the past government ignored the remote areas but all such localities are being developed by the PTI government, he added. The work done in three years was greater than the previous governments’ performance, he noted.
The CM regretted that the useless agitation of the opposition is aimed at saving their personal stakes as political designs of the PDM revolves around their personal interest. Opposition is oblivious to people and it is bent upon obstructing the development process, he said. However, the politics of public service and development process would only prevail in the country, the CM concluded.
Meanwhile, on the direction of Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar, ‘Diwar-e-Ehsaas’ has been set up in Multan after Ehsaas Bazar. The Sanatzar Road facility would enable deserving people to get warm clothes. DC Multan Amir Kareem inaugurated the ‘Diwar-e-Ehsaas’ and distributed clothes among the needy.
The Multan citizenry could provide warm clothes to the impecunious strata through ‘Diwar-e-Ehsaas’, added DC Multan and appealed to the civil society to lend a helping hand. Public welfare is a priority agenda in line with the vision of CM Punjab, he added. In this regard, the CM termed the facility a noble cause by the Multan administration. It is the passion to care for the needy and a commendable job has been done, he added.
