LAHORE: Provincial Law Minister Raja Basharat and Minister for Public Prosecution Chaudhry Zaheer-Uddin called on Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar at his office on Thursday and apprised him about departmental performance and pace of reforms.

Talking on the occasion, CM Usman Buzdar said that public service was the main agenda of the government while departmental reforms have created ease for the public. The fruits of development are reaching every district under the unprecedented development program, he spoke.

He said the archaic culture of unfair distribution of development funds has been eradicated. In the previous era, development funds were spent on personal likes and dislikes, he regretted. In the new Pakistan, every penny is being spent honestly on the people.

He said that the opponents want to stop the journey of development but these elements have failed at every opportunity. The opposition has lost its credibility, he maintained. CM Usman Buzdar said that direction of the government was in the right direction. The government was working day and night to solve the problems of the people. The nation has unshakable faith and complete confidence in the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, he added.
