QUETTA: Khalil Ahmed, President, All Pakistan Clerks Association APCA, Population Welfare Department, Amanullah, General Secretary, Muhammad Nawaz, Ahmed Nawaz and Mushtaq Khan, while condemning the condition of Departmental Promotion Committee DPC regarding re-verification of the educational degrees of Junior Clerks for promotion to the rank of senior clerk, have said that the re-verification of educational certificates of Junior Clerks from Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education BBISE, Quetta was neither mentioned in the promotion policy of the province nor had the said conditions been put by other administrative departments.

They said that many Junior Clerks of Population Welfare Department, including Muhammad Aslam Raees, Junior Clerk, had been awaiting their regular promotion to the next rank for the last 32 years, adding that the condition of Departmental Promotion Committee DPC to re-verify educational certificates from Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Quetta was nothing but to spend the promotion cases of eligible Junior Clerks to the rank of Senior Clerks. They called on higher authorities to withdraw the re-verification of educational certificates and grant promotion to eligible Junior Clerk to the next grade.

They added that the promotion cases of 16 Family Welfare Councillors FWCs to the rank of Field Technical Officer B-16 had been pending in administrative department since June, 2021 without any cogent reasons. They called on high-ups of Population Welfare Department to promote FWCs of the Department to the rank of Field Technical Officer B-16 from June, 2021.
