KARACHI: Pakistan reported four more deaths due to Covid in the last 24 hours while the countrywide tally of fatalities has hiked to 28,843 on Wednesday.
According to National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), 370 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. The NCOC said 13,052 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab, 7,640 in Sindh 5,896 in KP, 963 in Islamabad, 743 in Azad Kashmir, 363 in Balochistan, and 186 in GB.
It added 478,412 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 443,985 in Punjab 180,760 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 108,172 in Islamabad, 34,618 in Azad Kashmir 33,539 in Balochistan and 10,427 in Gilgit-Baltistan. Pakistan has so far conducted 22,646,130 coronavirus tests and 44,609 in the last 24 hours. 1,251,778 patients have recovered in the country whereas 706 patients are in critical condition.
